About InnerDancer Performing Arts
Caroline van den Berg has been teaching Ballet, Creative Movement and Therapeutic Dance to children, teens and adults for over 30 years.
She has Diplomas in Anatomy and Kinesiology as well as Child Psychology and Development.
Besides teaching the International Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, some of the qualities Caroline would like to develop in her young students are poise, confidence, the love for beautiful music and, above all, the Joy of Dance!
The Royal Academy of Dance ensures that ballet is taught correctly to children, demanding no more from their growing bodies than they can easily cope with. Students are able to enter Royal Academy of Dance Examinations each year.
PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS , EXAMS, RECITALS, DANCE PARTIES
WORKSHOPS:
We offer Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas Art, Music and Dance Workshops for children.
PERFORMANCES:
Students are given the opportunity to dance in our production of The Nutcracker Ballet as well as the Cinderella Ballet.
BALLET EXAMINATIONS:
Each year an International Examiner from the Royal Academy of Dance visits our studio. Students in Pre-Primary, Primary and RAD Grade Syllabus work are given the opportunity to enter the examinations.
ANNUAL RECITAL:
All students are encouraged to take part in our Annual Recital that takes place at the end of the school year.
DANCE PARTIES & DATE NIGHT FOR PARENTS:
We offer dance and pizza parties once a month. This is a great time to get together with old friends and make new friends. Also a great time for parents' date-night!
SUMMER CAMPS:
Our Art, Dance & Music Summer Camps are a great hit! Come and join us! We have a lot of fun!
